Took a look at my blog and amazed to see it has been a year since I last posted. Whoa! where did it go? Guess I will get out from under the bed.
Looking forward to making progress. So far everything has been sitting on the back burner.
At present I am doing pottery at South Hampton Clay studio. Talk about being rusty.
I look forward to Mondays and the ride out to the studio. Like slapping the clay down to knead it.
Pottery is a very physical experience and it has now awakened my brain. I have been thinking of making a pumpkin teapot for a long time, wish me luck.
Diane and I are planning a trip to Ireland in about 18 months. Have just connected with artists in Ireland through "Plein Eire Club" in Dublin. My plans are to sketch and paint while we're there.
Diane will be doing research into genealogy.
And the best part of the trip we will be visiting our new cousins in Dublin.
Just planning this trip is such great fun.

Happy Easter
Been working on doll heads. Taking an online course Facial Expressions with Marlaine Verhelst.
So far we've done a happy face and arrogant face. Trying to transfer a picture but its not working.

Happy St. Pats Day
Drove through the crowds waiting for the ParaDE To start Everyone looked like they were ready for fun in their Green Hats.
Received a Green tee shirt with Dinnigan written on the front.
I had a wonderful visit with Amanda. She is off to Florida this Saturday going to camp for Disabled Children on Vents, They always have a very busy week set up for the children. Amanda loves the camp and always has a great time.
Alyssa will graduate from College this May. I will be going to Delaware with the family for her graduation.
My childrens book is moving along nicely. Lots of sketching. Starting to do some painting . Think I have nailed my charater down . Always room for change but I just love the process.
Please forgive my errors keeping hitting the wrong keys and losing the draft. Decided to leave the errors and just get this finished.

Watercolor Children's Book Art Course
Decided take a little detour with my artwork. Have enrolled in an illustration painting course for
children's books with Mark Mitchell. Make your Splashes; Make your Marks its an art course .
Has opened up a new avenue for me to explore Children's Books.
After raising six children I know just how funny they are. The world is new to them and it is great to see it through their eyes.
Here I go wish me luck.
